Earlier this month, on July 2, 2020, Susanne Bodach, our Managing Director in Cambodia was invited to a webinar hosted by EuroCham Cambodia to have a discussion on how to use energy sustainably to cut electricity costs. During this webinar, Tom Hesketh, Business Services Manager at EuroCham, explained the reasons behind the high costs of electricity in Cambodia highlighting the relevance for companies to find ways to reduce their energy costs. Later, Susanne Bodach further broadened the topic by showing how companies can reduce electricity costs through energy management strategies, such as conducting energy audits. In addition, some smart solutions to reduce energy costs were discussed along with case studies of smart energy solutions implemented in Prada and Carrefour. At the end of the webinar, there was a Q&A session to enable the interaction between the attendees and the speakers.
