It’s a pleasure to share that Alessandro Bisagni, our Founder and President, will present at the HSBC 13th Annual China Conference in Shenzhen.
The conference runs on 1 and 2 September 2026 at the Futian Shangri-La, and Alessandro will take part in the Climate Tech Showcase on the afternoon of 1 September.
The Showcase gathers a small group of selected innovators, each presenting one climate technology in turn. We’ll be showing the artificial intelligence (AI) features of BEE Sense, our indoor air quality and energy monitoring platform.

BEE will present the AI features of BEE Sense at the HSBC China Conference Climate Tech Showcase
For our team, the setting matters. Shenzhen sits alongside Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Taipei among BEE’s Greater China offices, so this one is close to home.
The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) runs the conference for investors, policymakers, and industry leaders, and its programme covers China’s economic outlook, innovation in fields like AI and biotechnology, and the trade and capital flows now reshaping supply chains, including the China to Middle East, North Africa and Türkiye (MENAT) corridor.
Alessandro presents as one of the selected innovators, and BEE attends as an invited participant.
What we plan to show at the Climate Tech Showcase
BEE Sense reads the data a building already produces, and its AI features turn that into recommendations a facilities team can act on. In practice, that means spotting patterns across energy use and indoor air quality, then flagging where a change might pay off before anyone touches a setting.
We are still shaping the exact material with the HSBC team, so we are holding the specifics for the room itself.
We would rather describe a building through its readings than through claims made about it, and that is the story we are bringing to Shenzhen.
”AI is only as good as the questions you point it at. With BEE Sense, we ask a plain one: is this building actually performing, and if not, where. Presenting that in Shenzhen, close to our Greater China teams, means a lot to me.

The Climate Tech Showcase is one part of a two-day programme.
Elsewhere on the agenda, HSBC has named external voices including Patrick Harker (the 11th President and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia from 2015 until his retirement in 2025); Dr Haizhou Huang (a macro-financial economist and member of the People’s Bank of China (PBoC) Monetary Policy Committee); Mary Lovely (the Anthony M. Solomon Senior Fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics (PIIE)); and Michael Pettis (Senior Fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace).
A welcome reception opens the week on the evening of Monday 31 August at the Chairman’s Room, Level 40, and a walk-around fine wine tasting runs from 17:15 on 1 September at the Grand Ballroom, Level 2.
